Westgate

A lot of people in Vegas forget that the Westgate even has a poker room, but it's a nice little room, off the beaten path, and the staff are friendly. It's also right next to "The World's Largest Sportsbook". While games typically don't run in the morning hours, a small no-limit game and sometimes a $4/8 fixed-limit game run in the evenings.

The Westgate is very friendly to leagues and semi-private games, so if you have an event you want to host, they are a good place to start. The room catches a hint of second hand smoke, but it's not the worst in the city.

Rake is reasonable by Vegas standards at $5+2, but if you aren't there at the times they are giving back those promo dollars, $7 total is awfully high. The good news is that you'll find a lot of locals, a few tourists, and absolutely no pros. The headphones and backpack barely know that the place exists.

There are a few places to eat near the poker room, the pricing is about average, and the food is typical bar fare.
